NFC: Data Transfer via Chip

The passive NFC chip in the Scuba 3s enables wireless data transfer to an external device with an active NFC reader (e.g. smartphones). It works the same way as placing a credit card on a payment terminal: simply hold the smartphone against the Scuba 3s — and everything is transferred to the device.

All data records are transferred simultaneously and are immediately available for analysis in the PoolAssistant app. A data record includes the device serial number and firmware version, the method name and number, the date and time of measurement, the results, and the units. A cloud solution is also available for data storage.

The PoolAssistant App: Quick Overview Anytime, Anywhere

The PoolAssistant app helps you analyze measurement results. After transmission via NFC, up to 3 users can directly access the data for each control parameter for up to 5 pools.

The app categorizes the results in diagrams and provides pool management tools such as maintenance tracking and water quality monitoring. All key questions about pool water maintenance, water hygiene, and the Langelier Index are answered in the FAQ section. You can also find valuable tips there.

Light Signals Provide Immediate Assurance

The light signals in the Scuba 3s use colored display backlighting to instantly indicate whether the measurement result is “correct” or not.

If the light turns green, the measurement is within the ideal range and you can enjoy the water with confidence. If the light turns red, caution is required: the measurement is above or below the internationally accepted range for safe swimming.

The PoolAssistant app also classifies results with green and red signal colors and helps you identify the cause of any imbalance.

With 11 tests, the Scuba 3s offers even more options for monitoring pool water quality based on the most important components. The following measurements are available at the push of a button and indicate whether the pool water quality is correct. The measuring process is now even faster.

Four multifunctional buttons, supported by intuitive animations and icons, make it easy to navigate the user menu on the larger display.
